Welcome to Bandanna Energy Limited
Bandanna Energy Limited is a new coal exploration company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (Code : ASX – BND). Following a successful $10 million capital raising completed in September 2008, the Company is focusing on coal exploration in its Bowen Basin operated tenements, primarily the Arcturus (EPC 1221), Dingo West (EPC 881), Springsure Creek (EPC 891) and Arcadia (EPCs 892 and 1204) project areas. In addition the Company is participating in significant exploration in the Alpha area where AMCI is currently funding activities as part of a farm-in and joint venture agreement. The Company is keen to establish revenue streams in the short to medium term.
The Company also has conventional oil and gas interests including modest interests in the Cleansweep-1 oil discovery in PEL 100 and gas/condensate discoveries in PEL 106, both located in the South Australian portion of the Cooper Basin.
The Board is chaired by Jeremy Barlow who has a long and distinguished career in the Australian coal and energy sectors. He was formerly a principal of Barlow Jonker Consultants and a Director of CH4 Gas Limited. He is also currently a director of Arrow Energy Limited. Currently there are approximately 369 million fully paid ordinary shares on issue of which 127,708,956 are quoted on the ASX; 242,003,203 are classified by the ASX as restricted securities and held in escrow for a period of 2 years from the date of relisting (9 October 2008).
